Destination...Fourth Village

Eating out in Sydney is always such a delight. Funky restaurants and bistros abound the city and inner suburbs. My favourite place to eat and purchase home providore goods is Fourth Village in Mosman.

Fourth Village is not only a top class Italian restaurant, but an amazing providore store, packed with many great Italian brands essential for cooking a classic Italian meal. Wandering around the store always reminds me of the French and Italian markets. The produce is dislpayed the old fashioned way in baskets and boxes using blackboards to announce the various prices.

The restaurant has had many accolades over the last few years and is always in the top five for the best pizzas in Sydney. Head Chef Flavio, weaves his magic from years spent in Sardinia learning the art of Italian cooking. On my last visit to Fourth Village I tried the Pesto Trapanese and Spaghettino Alla Bottarga, amazing flavours and texture.

Have a lovely weekend. Andrina x

Parterre...

When visiting Sydney I always make time to swing past my favourite interiors shop Parterre on Ocean street in Woollahra.I love the sense of calm and serenity that flows after entering this beautiful sandstone building.

Parterre is sublime and elegant in its choice of antiques and collectables sourced by owner Richard Haigh, from France and Belguim. Each piece very cleverly occupies its space with a presence and grace that is a delight to behold.

The Woollhara store specializes in antiques and collectables, however if you are after a modern twist, Parterre has a store in Surry Hills that sells modern contemporary furniture including ranges from Royal Botania, Gandia Blasco, Domani and Fueradentro.
If you're visiting Sydney, its well worth the effort to visit these beautiful stores.

Strolling in heaven

Walking the Cremorne track is always one of the highlights of my trips to visit family in Sydney.
This beautiful winding path that circumnavigates Cremorne Point through gardens, native bushland and parks is truly magestic.

Glimpses of local yacht clubs, beautiful harbour views, grand old houses and time established gardens all combine to make this an enchanting stroll.

Watching a mother share a moment with her daughter or a man enjoying the outdoors with his best friend...this is my idea of strolling in heaven.

Do you have a favourite walk? Please let me know.
Talk to you soon. Andrina x
